Welcome to OfficePDF. These terms govern your use of the OfficePDF website, cloud API and on-premise SDK (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

OfficePDF provides a cloud API and web tool for converting Word documents to PDF, and an SDK you can deploy on your own servers. We continuously improve the engine but do not guarantee identical reproduction of every document; in strict mode, documents that cannot be rendered correctly are rejected.

2. Your account

You must register with a valid email address and are responsible for all activity under your account, including safekeeping of API keys. If an account or key is compromised, revoke the key immediately and notify us.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to process unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights, or interfere with, attack or reverse-engineer the Service. We may restrict or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Fees and refunds

Cloud API usage is deducted from prepaid page packs per successfully produced page. Page packs are valid for one year from purchase; unused pages are not refundable after expiry. Rejected, failed and cancelled conversions are not billed. SDK licenses are priced by servers and term. Contact us about refunds; we handle them case by case.

5. Your documents

You own the documents you upload and the resulting output. We process them only to provide the conversion. Source files are deleted after conversion and outputs are deleted automatically after 7 days.

6. SDK license

The SDK may be used within the servers, features and term stated in the license file. It may not be transferred, sublicensed or used to provide conversion services to third parties unless agreed in writing. After expiry, new versions are no longer available; the license agreement prevails.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Service, and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the preceding twelve months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms and will announce material changes in advance by email or in the dashboard. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
